I wish we would keep reiterating that “some of our brightest go overseas, but equally some of our best and brightest stay home. The present Govt is second-rate, but we definitely aren’t.
I too hate the ‘brightest and best go away’ thing. Does that mean we suddenly revert to being thick dullards when we come back? Oh god, maybe it does. Argggghhhhhhh! And then you’re trapped because you’re too dumb to figure out how to escape again. It’s like bad sci-fi!
