I love this Sarah. I love that you tell a real story and say how ‘the land might rise up and flick us all off.’ In a funny way that’s consoling, maybe because it acknowledges how random – in human terms – these events are. (I am not in Christchurch but people I am close to are, and they are thankfully all right.)
A beautiful tribute. You should ha e this widely published.
Thank you for expressing so eloquently exactly how I feel.
Beautiful work, Sarah, very very moving. xxx Helen
Very clever….a good time to reflect on how small and fragile we really are. Also on those gone before who have experienced disaster, war and famine. We have been really quite lucky in our lifetimes. Keep up the good work Sarah.
Such a beautifully, insightful expression of how we all feel, woven into such a captivating tale. Sarah, you are truly gifted!
Fantastic. Thank you.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments!
