Apologies for the infrequency of posts lately — I am trying to finish my novel (69.2% through 2nd draft) and get ready for my trip to a literary festival in China in March. I hope to be posting more regularly soon.
Argh, the horrors of shopping malls. If the hand cream pushers don’t get you then the smell of toxic plastic at the “Now quite a lot more than $2 shop” definitely will…
Very funny Sarah and brings back memories (children escaping to wreak carnage, that is, not having my nails done, which would ofc never happen to a kiwi bloke)
My daughter is older than yours, Sarah, and was fascinated by the Israeli cosmetics people. I ended up paying a couple of hundred dollars for nail creams and nail sanding blocks with silk on them and for facial cleansers and the sort of face oil that would change my life. Not usually a knock over in these situations, I was well and truly fleeced. Didn’t even have enough money to go to the $2 shop…
oh gosh, violet got away from you! How could that happen, Violet is so obedient?
I love this one Sarah…
