Clueless, part 14
15/10/2012
This is part of a serial about the birth of my first son – you can read the last post in the September archives, or start from the beginning in the April archives. I do quite a few installments in June too, in case you want to start in the middle.
I thought this was going to be my last installment – but the story is setting its own pace! Tune in for the grand finale… or the penultimate grand finale… really, I haven’t a clue.

Woohoo! Look out, here comes Otto! Love the Smiths reference.
I can’t believe you walked up one tree hill nine months pregnant. You are a fricking legend.
Even though we all know it ends happily – I can’t wait for the grande finale. – You walked up One Tree HIll ( 9 months pregnant) and you wanted to keep going!!! – AMAZING!
Don’t worry, we didn’t walk to the top – we made it maybe halfway up. And I was only 37 weeks pregnant, and carrying a small baby – not the full, 2 week overdue deal!
I had a double dose of the induction pessary with my first. They hooked the wrong woman up to the foetal monitor – she wasn’t in labour (I overheard her telling her partner she hadn’t even been induced yet!). When my contractions cranked up, they said I was imagining it as the monitor readings weren’t showing anything! Big mess-up!
Looking forward to the last part!
