Snapshot
01/10/2012
It’s the school holidays now, and the kids are at home with me, which doesn’t leave me much time to draw comics. But I have been pecking away at this one, one panel at a time, and now I present you with a snapshot of what my kids are in to right now.
The Hindenburg footage is classic. Thankfully Gus has stopped playing that lately. But the music, the commentary… it’s so epic!

oh gosh, this made me laugh. I have a 12 year old who loves Minecraft and insists on showing me what she’s built. it looks like a pixelated prison to me. I waited ages for the Zombies to come close enough so I could see them and was so disappointed – how can you be scared of a pixelated series of stacked boxes?? Something about this game is hugely addictive, but I so far fail to see the appeal. But them I’m not 12.
so funny – and only 13 days to go!
Wasn’t it “Oh, the huge manatee”?
Violet and Agnes must live on the same planet – she is a 2 tights 3 dresses kind of a girl too!
Yes. I do suspect that Minecraft is a sneaky form of crack made especially for little boys. And no – none of the parenting manuals I have read suggest that bribing kids with “crack” is a good way to get them to do their piano practise (ahem, or clean their rooms).
I feel your dilemma.
