Clueless, part 8

15/08/2012

I’ve finally gotten back to continuing this story! For a recap, I’m pregnant, it’s 2003, and I have to leave New York City because we’re about to have our first child and Jonathan’s mother is terminally ill. If you missed (or have forgotten) the last installment, you can find it here.

This is SO how I felt about leaving London (in different, yet similar circumstances) – even down to the getting rid of possessions on the street (which is where they first came from too). I am not sure whether to laugh or cry. Mostly I’m just so happy to see Clueless back!

I couldn’t find a photo of the JFK entrance. So I thought this would do. It’s pretty cool, huh?

Its still there, its part of the new Jetstar terminal at JFK – its a heritage listed building…. And its featured in loads of movies, like catch me if you can…..

gosh – it IS like living backwards – We left NYC almost 8 months pregnant – it was stinkin\’ hot and there were power outages and my grandmother – who was 80 – said I was going so far away I might fall off the end of the earth JFK was seen through a veil of tears. Can\’t wait for the next installment.
