Friendly British feminist in NZ doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, I guess……
Well if we’re going to tell you what to do with your spare time (hah! what spare time you wail!?!) you should ALSO be the next Caitlin Moran and write the NZ version of ‘How To Be A Woman’ (the female equivalent publication of ‘The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole’ but with smatterings of Germaine Greer). Merry Christmas Sarah, congratulations on handing in a version of your novel and I hope you have a great summer. Your blog encourages me to keep working on my PhD, reminded that we’re all plagued by the same doubts and expectations of ourselves and others.
Merry christmas to you too, Emma, and good luck in finishing your PhD thesis. I do like the idea of being NZ’s Caitlin Moran with a smattering of Germaine Greer, particularly the making money part of it!
