Novel begone!
13/12/2011
It’s been a while, I know, but I’ve been busy. First I was finishing off the latest draft of my novel, then I was taking part in this exhibition. I have also started doing monthly comics in Metro Magazine, in The Guide section. I’m doing them in 100% technicolor! I’m planning on posting a little more regularly, whilst I wait for the verdict on the novel….

Congratulations Sarah! And a graphic novel is an exciting prospect for those of us readers waiting in the shadowy wings. Have fun at in the holidays.
Thanks, Paula! Hopefully I’ll see you in the holidays.
Thank goodness you’re back! I was beginning to fear you’d fallen into a hole at the bottom of your garden or something. Well done on finishing the novel (and good luck for summoning your inner earth mother. Can you let me know if you find her?)
Haha, no, I’d fallen into a hole in front of my computer.
Congratulations! My agent once said to me – in an effort to get me to hand over the damn manuscript – ‘Marianne, you’ll never feel like you’ve finished the book, you just eventually give up on it.’
That is so true. I am imagining that if it makes it to publication I will definitely get another round anyway. Looking forward to your book coming out!
A graphic novel! very cool 🙂
I hope so… I will probably angst over it just as much as this one!
The exhibition was very thought provoking.
Send Earth Mother my way when you’re done – the Christmas holidays make me feel like a mother octopus – eight arms and can’t manage her brood and then gets eaten alive by them 🙂
Oh yes, they ate me alive today when we tried to make cupcakes for a school shared lunch… and the holidays haven’t even begun yet!
Congratulations, Sarah! Best of luck with all the projects at hand! x H
Thanks, Helen!
I once heard that Picasso was still making final touches to Guernica as they carried it out the door. Don’t know if it’s true, but I like it. Congrats!
Thanks, Jared! And how is your book going?
This has made my night. I think I’d rather have my characters for Christmas lunch over my family (just kidding! sort of). Thanks, Sarah. Graphic novel sounds very cool!.
Haha, actually me too (just kidding! sort of)
Glad you’re back!
Glad I’m too lazy to update my bookmarks!
YaaaaaYYYhhh! Sarah, I cannot wait to read your new novel. All of our book club are “standing by” We ALL adored Dead Peoples Music of course. So clever!
Well done and congratulations. Perfect timing. Go enjoy those Christmas holidays {wrangling children}. Day one of the holidays and I need mother earth to come hook me up!
