Yay! I’m a big fan of Quentin Crisp – and I loved the doco about him that showed at the Out Takes Film Festival recently. Also, I used to work at Smith & Caughey in my school holidays and always loved it when the very glamorous trannies came in to buy make-up of a Friday night.
Wow, you were a Smith and Caughies shop girl, how cool! It’s still very old fashioned department store in its nature. I have almost finished The Naked Civil Servant and am loving it. I will have to ferret out that doco.
