As for me, I can’t handle zombie movies. They get me every time. Oh, and demonic possession. Scares the pants off me!
My D.C. friends tried to get me to climb the steps the priest falls down in the Exorcist, but I couldn’t do it – I knew I would fall. My dad had a book copy of The Exorcist and I had to hide it so the demons wouldn’t escape.
I read a book about gangbangers in LA and was sure that someone was going to do a driveby outside my house. Now I stick to Baltimore gangbangers.
I’m on a horror fiction fest at the mo – I read Zombie Britannica (predictable yet enGROSSing) in 2 sittings and spent the entire day afterwards thinking that people are just a heartbeat away from cannibalism. Fun.
I should send you my Pride and Prejudice and the Zombies graphic novel.
The Road was the worst for me. Lots of end of the world nightmares. I don’t like thinking about it too hard when I’m awake either!
