Maybe you could get someone else to design your third book and then you won’t have the design aspect getting in the way of people discussing the writing?

re: pushing books.

In my experience (from Stand Up Poetry) the best way to make sales, is to announce the books for sale and the price at the beginning of the reading, so that people have an hour to think about purchasing. Works a charm, I swear! Ask any of the poets who have guested at Stand Up – we are good at shifting books! 🙂
