    well you just described ME, ( every story HAS been told ) except my ‘baby ‘ is still in utero and kicking the heck out of me…but i do have three older kids too and a serious book late at night habit…

    Are you seriously reading The Haunting of Hill House??? I love Shirley Jackson. Have you seen the 1950s (I think) film version, called The Haunting. The scariest movie I have ever seen. But I’m way too chicken to read the book.

    The book was great – the first thing I’ve read by her. It was terrifying and comic at the same time. I did get nightmares – I am going to have to give myself some time before I read another Shirley Jackson.
